Abraxas donates prints to new library

Well known local artist Abraxas recently donated prints of two of his
paintings, "First Light" And "Look Out" to the Rehohoth Beach Public Library's
new addition, which will be opening in the near future. Rehoboth Library
Board of Directors President Dee Bradley stands at right with Abraxas
in the upstairs room where one of the paintings will be hung above the
fireplace.
Abraxas was born in Lewes and was inspired by the local scenery to become
an accomplished artist. He completed the New Renaissance academy on Whitbey
Island near Seattle, Wash., under Libby Berry, founder. There he learned
the various tools of pigment, linen and layering. Only alimited quantity
of two of his works, "Look Out" and "Winter at the Beach" are still available.
